Questions
Frequently asked
What is ProfPage?
A simple professional homepage for educators. It answers one question: where can students, parents, colleagues and employers find everything about you? Your bio, courses, office hours, resources and contact details live at one permanent link, such as profpage.com/jane-smith.
Is it a learning management system?
No. ProfPage is not an LMS, a gradebook or a classroom tool, and it doesn't replace Canvas, Blackboard or Google Classroom. It's your public professional page. Many educators link to it from their LMS, syllabus and email signature.
Do you store student data?
No. ProfPage is one educator publishing information outward. There are no student accounts, grades, submissions or student messages, so there are no student records to store.
How long does it take to set up?
About five minutes. There are no themes to choose and no page builder to learn: you fill in your information, choose which sections to show, and ProfPage takes care of the design on phones, laptops and print.
What happens if I change schools?
Your link stays the same. Update your title and courses, and everyone who has your link sees the new information. That is the point of a page that belongs to you rather than to an institution.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, with Pro. You can point a domain you own, such as janesmith.com, at your ProfPage.
